1. Raised food and water dishes. Juni has some shoulder joint pain, and it makes a big difference if he doesn't always have to hunch at his shoulder to drink! Image shows a wooden raised platform that holds 2 bowls above floor height for a dog to eat and drink. One is a stainless steel water bowl, and the other is a colorful 3-layer puzzle toy with kibble, strawberries, and bananas on it.
2. Regular enrichment focusing on novelty and cognition. Senior dogs can experience cognitive changes or decline - supporting them in continuing to exercise their mind is so beneficial! Trying new foods, sniffing new places, exploring new parks, solving food puzzles for meals, training new tricks... 3. More support getting in and out of the car... To support his joints more, Juni knows how to tolerate being supported in and out of the car using his harness.
