#read issue 1 of the new #marvelknightspunisher It has the same style of grittiness as Punisher MAX & the story is interesting, but the ending & the twist makes me wonder If they're ripping off the same story that is going on right now in Punisher: Red Band? I hope not, because the premise works better in Red Band & who knows, maybe the story in this one will change & be different later on... This takes obviously in a different universe & not in the canon Earth-616 universe. Is Marvel Knights & MAX the same brand? Would makes sense If it was because in the MAX universe Frank is still a Vietnam vet (they retconned it in the Earth-616 universe so he wouldn't be so old in the current time) & he's around 60-70 years old, which he seems to be here. And I guess he's blind in one eye or is it just part of the art style? The skull logo here reminds me of bland replacement Gravedigger Garrison's skull logo, except it looks better on Frank than Joe!
