I recently watched an extended cut of this movie, which you can tell because those scenes do not match the quality to the rest of the movie. It's mostly scenes with the corrupt mayor & his assitant, but it includes a much better ending than the original. I would say go for that version, but it still doesn't make sense for the rest of the story. It got two sequels & I stopped watching the 2nd movie half in because of one bullshit decision! It actually do sounds too good to be true, but imagine what a deal - you'll get bee stung, but at least you get a million for each sting you get 😜 Had no idea until now that this is based on a #clivebarker novel. #read issue 1 of the new #marvelknightspunisher It has the same style of grittiness as Punisher MAX & the story is interesting, but the ending & the twist makes me wonder If they're ripping off the same story that is going on right now in Punisher: Red Band? I hope not, because the premise works better in Red Band & who knows, maybe the story in this one will change & be different later on... This takes obviously in a different universe & not in the canon Earth-616 universe. Is Marvel Knights & MAX the same brand? Would makes sense If it was because in the MAX universe Frank is still a Vietnam vet (they retconned it in the Earth-616 universe so he wouldn't be so old in the current time) & he's around 60-70 years old, which he seems to be here. And I guess he's blind in one eye or is it just part of the art style? The skull logo here reminds me of bland replacement Gravedigger Garrison's skull logo, except it looks better on Frank than Joe!
