Six tams crowns - each one different - different colours, different patterns. Moving clockwise from the upper right corner: 1) Bracken Tam - Predominantly white, with teal, brown and touches of pink and green. I was trying to create curves with straight lines and I was happy with the results. 2) Maiden Tam - Mostly pink and grey with charcoal. This one holds all the hearts 💕 3) Heather Tam - My favourite purples in peerie patterns. The patterns make me think of a butterfly's wings. 4) Loch Ness Tam (Nessi) - teal diamonds shading from dark to light to bright green. With pops of white and dark outlines creating an elaborate star 5) Some Like it Hot - hot colours striped with simple patterns broken by charcoal stripes. 6) Moorland Tam - browns and greens, highlighted with hot orange create an elaborate snowflake patterned crown.

Retreating Tams - knit with sport weight Highland Wool.

The best part of a tam - the crowning glory - the top - the way the colours and decreases work together to create those amazing patterns.

Spare Squares, knit for the Buffalo Wool Co. Knit with their Tracks sock yarn, a 90/10 merino/bison blend. The main was undyed and the stripes of squares were minis. The strap is bison leather and buttons pewter buffalo.

This is the High Summer KAL shawl. It was knit with Ancient Arts Lascaux Fine. The lace body is separated from the edging by a double sided fair-isle band.

It is a 3/4 circular shawl.

Pink hat on a wooden head. The hat has a simple rib in a browny green. The rib is followed by a stranded body in the green and two shades of pink. On top of the hat body is a patch of dimensional knittec cherry blossoms, with embroidered centers.
