A line of rocks crosses the river on the right - a weir, or footpath made by kids perhaps. The far bank draws a dark line across the middle of the picture, dotted with green pine trees and thick mossy ground. Finally, leafy oak branches frame the very top of the view.

I take the dog walking here in the evenings, as its a good ten degrees cooler in the forest, and right now the tourist season hasn't kicked off so the campsite is quiet.

We have the footpath to ourselves.
