A square close up photo of a rusty old nut and bolt type thing (I'm not much of a DIY-er but I think that's what it is, it was taken in a Maritime Museum so was presumably once held bits of a ship together). The main body is hexagonal in two parts, I have presented the split between the two parts as a mouth, added teeth and a lolling out tongue, and added eyes above. The bolt sticks out through the top, like an odd little round hat with lines running round it.

Some silliness, because silly is important.

A bright red, five lobed leaf from an Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' (an EXCELLENT tree - strong recommend). It is standing upright, backlit by the sun, in grass. The photo is taken from very low down, and the leaf is in sharp focus with the grass blurred all around. It has a happy face drawn on the central largest lobe, so the lobes either side are like upturned arms.

An excited leaf on my front lawn, preparing to explore the world beyond its tree. There *might* be an analogy to current social media trends in there somewhere, although not necessarily a good one.
