Mirror mirror on the ground, who is... We spent a few days in Colorado. Today we did some sightseeing in Georgetown and Silver Plume, both historical towns in the Rocky Mountains, West of Denver. Silver Plume is a former silver mining camp; the "living ghost town" currently has 200 souls. We went to an abandoned silver mine just above the town. The mine entrance was easy to recognize, just follow the rusty rails. I could crawl into the mine a few meters until it was blocked with a metal mesh. The mine is filled with water, the ceiling is reflecting in the water. One rail can be seen in the water. It was a fun experience. -- ยฉ 2015 Peter Thoeny, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, @Quality HDR Photography
