215 éve született Sina (Σίνας) Simon, görög származású kereskedő, mecénás. 1848-tól vásárolta meg Batthyány Fülöp érdi telkeit, majd ʼ69-ben neoreneszánsz kastélyt építtetett a Szapáry-féle XVI. századi épület helyére. 80 ezer forinttal támogatta a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia (MTA) megépítését, de ma a görög épület viseli a nevét. Érdi majorságait lányairól, Anasztáziáról és Ilkáról nevezte el. Utóbbi név egészen a XX. századig közszájon forgott, az egykori Ilkamajori Állami Iskola például a mai Teleki. Sina 66 évesen halt meg.
