Chancellor García assured us she will uphold the core values of CSUs, will honor the purpose and mission of CSUs. her plan is to remove barriers to success, work tirelessly to ensure students from all backgrounds can obtain their CSU degree. She has personally held dozens of meetings with governors board, state, federal leaders, along with CSU board of trustees. the office leadership team is assessing impacts, gathering resources, strategies and sharing data. state teams are advocating tirelessly for the students and employees.
Specifically, CSU office of General Counsel has updated and distributed guidance to all CSUs to ensure international and undocumented employees and students are kept safe. they are aware the landscape is evolving, but ready to do whatever it takes to respond quickly and appropriately to any federal action that may be taken.
