This is a revision of the poem I posted yesterday. Although I wasn’t holding to a strict meter in this ten syllable blank verse, I realized the first three lines in the last stanza were iambic pentameter, so I changed the last line.

So I’m writing this stanza in my Jersey voice and to me they are all 10 syllable lines.

Every so often when I’m dining out
I’m surprised to find a hair in my food.
It’s skeevatz and pretty disappointing
but I probably forget it by dessert.
