Frozen footprints of an adult and juvénile coypu in the mud near the river. There a fan shapes of ice crystals on the surface if the mud in between the sunken footprints.

A leaf that has decayed to a skeleton is picked out by ice crystals in the leaf litter on the ground.

Interesting bubbles in a sheet of ice.
