A faint, glowing white spiral with a soft halo appears in the night sky above silhouetted winter tree branches. The spiral has a slightly twisted, whirlpool-like shape, surrounded by stars in a clear sky.

I spotted this surreal spiral in the night sky over NW England around 8PM tonight. It turns out it was a SpaceX fuel dump from a classified NRO launch. Felt like seeing a portal open above us.
