When you think about white women during slavery, what do you think about ? Do you picture this sweet, innocent Southern belle ? While you shouldn't ? White women were some of the most brutal slave owners. You see, the racial hierarchy allowed white women to escape gender repression. White women were not allowed to own property, but they were allowed to own slaves. And they took full advantage of this. They used their slaves to escape farming, household work, child rearing, nursing, and eating heaven, intercourse with their partners. White women also wrote stories about their own brutality. One story that will forever resonate with me is that of a white woman placing a black babies head underneath a rocking chair and rocking on it for hours. This was after the child was beaten by the slave owner's daughter, That black baby never ate solid food again. Frederick Douglass also discusses the brutality of women's slave owners in his narrative. One story that stuck in my mind was that of a white woman who beat a black child to death with a stick. So, y'all like, Okay, So why are you talking about this Now ? I'm talking about this now. Because we are still seeing that same slave time mentality in white women. We see this in health care. Remember the white nurse who broke the bones of the black babies ? We see this in education, My children's school. Don't even teach about black history period. They also said that the white teacher female told my daughter that all of the presidents that own slaves apologize and that we need to get over it. And you can see it with these performative cardio matches. They are looking to put black bodies in front of them because that's what they're used to while white women. I need y'all to stop. I need y'all to own your history and cut the shit sher believe inspire blacks be.
