A scene from the 1936 movie "after the thin man". It shows a room in the police office, a big wooden desk with a man behind it on the telephone, he wears a suit, waistcoat and tie. On the other side of the desk a man in a dark suit, but without a hat. Behind him a police man in uniform. The advantage of a Christmas lunch with the family is that you have room for a Christmas evening together. Yesterday we watched the second Thin Man movie (we do have a box set) and had left over garlic bread and we drank cocktails.
Tonight we will have a fancy dinner together

We don't do presents so I have no lists of goodies to share.
We went to my sister in law for Xmas lunch, she is very proud of her cooking and I think it is ok :-)
I love my nieces and now also my nephew in law(?) always good to see them. All in all joyful afternoon

Partner and I exchanged some presents this morning before they left to celebrate with their mum. Rest of the day I've been lying about just playing mobile games while the cats napped on me. #SmallXmas

we do a roast dinner exactly once a year bc the kitchen in this flat is postage stamp sized and it’s a lot of moving parts, we try very hard to make this time of year as unstressful as possible #SmallXmas
