A vessel only known as "Check." Their motives are unknown and how they got here hasn't been determined by others. Only X knows their true name, outside of Check themself. Check relies on a checkpoint monitor from the 8-bit games to see, smell, hear, feel, but also to have a functioning body. Blood goes directly to the monitor to power it. Blood is FUEL, and the monitor is LIFE. Oxygen is unnecessary for them, and carbon dioxide doesn't seem to affect anything. Only a being with at least the power of a Guardian can shatter the monitor of theirs and kill Check instantly, requiring a trip through Purgatory, although they will also die if they don't have enough blood. They seem to have special properties in that their hands can siphon remaining blood from corpses. If they are running low on blood, they can go berserk. This causes them to have an indefinite hunger until they can get blood, and also causes them to go on a killing rampage of their own. This makes them highly aggressive, and as such, they rarely talk. When they are calm, they will typically conduct contracts or trades of some kind. Anyone around them should attempt to stay neutral, because they don't seem to be on anyone's side truly. This even includes anyone working with X. Fang vessels are immediate threats to its existence.

First panel: "I don't mind coming to the shore" says Marco walking on...well the shore. "It's bright, calm...and it would be relaxing if it weren't for one thing..." he adds as Zetsubo is seen following him in the water, only her sticking out to observe him. He turns his back and looks at her confused and uneased.

"She always comes whenever i go to the shore...or close to water in general. She never speaks to me or greet me. She just...watches me...Why ?" he asks. "Why is she doing this ? Is it something she usually does ? Or is it just me ? Is it a warning ? Curiosity ? Maybe she doesn't like me ?" he asks again and again, stressing out. After thinking it a bit, he then decides to go. "You know what ? I'm leaving. I'm stressing this out for nothing, why should i be so worried about it ?" He leaves, as Zetsubo watches from the water..."Noooo come baaack <:("

The comic takes place in Mushroom Hill, where Marco and a Fang vessel character are chatting. The Fang character starts to ask why Marco gives out items, with Marco replying that he was "told to". The Fang vessel, confused, acknowledges and asks what Marco has to offer, which the ladder replies that he has lots of choices, like a Bubble Shields that he shows off. The vessel, interested, starts to think with Marco reassuring him and allows him to take his time.

Here's the first comic ! It's purposefully pretty short, as he mainly serves as a way to introduce Marco and who he is !
