After a run of those bright, colourful sunrises, today brought a blanket of cloud stretching right across the sky. The light’s softer, the colours more muted, and the sea almost blends into the horizon.

This morning’s sunrise over Dawlish brought soft colour across the sky, calm water, and that familiar curve of the sea wall… and then right on cue, a GWR train quietly slipped into the scene, heading for Kennaway Tunnel.
