Finally, it's annoying to do these courses, or pay the fine, take the points to your license. It's also very expensive - insurance, impact on work, etc. To say that it's dangerous sounds obvious & true also at low speeds.

'Say what you see' - every once in a while, while driving. Make the effort to 'read' the road and say it out loud - look for signs, check for streetlights, housing, other dangers on the road.
