I think this is the first year ever that I've had at least one completed drawing for each month. I even had a hard time picking for some months! Exciting for me!
Had to reach a little February, but it's fine (Maybe someday I'll finish that poster lmao)

A progress shot of the same drawing of fish lures in Procreate where I've mostly finished picking what colors I want where. For the top-water popper I've gone with pink for the body and seafoam for the tail. I've also included a bright blue circle behind the head for some interest and cohesion to the piece. For the spoons I've picked an emerald green, purple, a purple-ish pink, blue, and bright green. The segmented lure is bright orange with a yellow tail and white segments. The soft baits are dark greens. I'm not convinced of the placement of them at this point and they are not cleanly rendered like most of the other lures. The same can be said for the crank-baits, but the dark purple and bright blue for the top one is something I keep. I also have added a bright pink circle in the same fashion as the top-water popper. The other crank-bait has a similar circle in purple.

Gradients and textures have been added, but a lot of the patterns that were added to the finished piece during rendering are still missing here. The only major difference is the soft baits have been completely scrapped and replaced with four jigs that have soft bait tails attached. They are bright green, blue, purple, and orange. The colors draw from other lures in the pieces to add cohesion to the piece.

Did the color wheel trend going around on rn! Had to reach back a little further for a couple of the slots to keep it cohesive, but it's all pretty recent work still! Proud of myself! 🥰

A Bangboo from the video game Zenless Zone Zero. Only its face is visible from a circular cutout in a full body, green, cartoon dinosaur outfit. There are some yellow-green spots sewn on the costume in areas. The head of the dinosaur is flopped back a little from its own weight. The visible eye of the costume is a spiral, and there is a pink circle on the face to indicate a cheek.
This was something I put together for a friend's birthday back in February! In this house, we love and cherish the Bangboos
