☕ At the weekend I dropped into St Luke's Church in #Stapleford #Broxtowe for their coffee morning fundraiser for Myeloma UK.
Blood cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in the UK, and Myeloma is one of the most common forms.

Last weekend I was kindly invited by Christy Tang from HongKong Notts to introduce their Citizenship event held in #Stapleford. It was a pleasure to meet Christy and Henry (from Hong Kong Professionals CIC) and to re-iterate our ongoing support for our Hong Kong community in #Broxtowe and in the UK.
Out in #Stapleford today with a fantastic group of canvassers, talking to residents about all sorts, including #Potholes.

Next up I went over the road to see Elaine from Sewing B who runs sewing workshops in #Stapleford. Today's a pyjama making workshop. Elaine and her participants have created a inclusive & welcoming shop where everyone can learn to create beautiful garments.

Amazing what you can stumble on amidst the roar of the M11 & the trumpeting of the railway: a Grey Wagtail among the Pied Wagtails (1 with a ring) at #Stapleford Sewage Works (& magpies, some starlings & moorhens). Later she/one was by the footbridge over the Granta. #MyWalk 1/4
