2/2 I might make this pattern again but with mixed colours, lights and darks. This one is twin size. I make all my donations quilts this size as I never really know where they will be used. What size is best for donation quilts?

1/2 I'm making progress on the quilt top. I felt like sewing today, not cutting or pressing so I broke my own rule about not sewing blocks together before they were completely laid out. (It was a new rule and nobody listens to me anyway.) Three more rows for twin size!

It still surprises me how simple something can appear to be and how many different ways I can mess it up. This is about half way laid out. Lots of time for more mistakes! No more sewing together until it's completely laid out.
