I wanted to like this so much….. Matt Smith and folk horror? It started out so promising with the rabbit, but then ended up not as weird as it should’ve been and terribly dry. Better than a lot though. 4/10

Final thoughts for #starveacre. Mostly fine, and inoffensive, but very boring. I kept waiting for something to happen. Obviously, this is low-budget folk horror, but even the one rabbit attack was off screen. I expected something closer to The Borderlands or Safe Haven from VHS 2. 3/5

To each their own, but I'm doubting the last 20 minutes or so of #starveacre are going to bring it up for me. There's some neat ideas here that just feel muddled in their execution. I'm not anti-folk horror, but this has me cold.
