It´s 6pm on a Saturday when his parents find out (from their nosy Neighbour Mrs. Dorothy. She´s not a friend) that he kissed a boy in the woods behind his house , he had until the end of the day to get out of the house. He doesn't have a lot to pack - his clothes, photos of Robin and the kids and his favourite stuffed animal, Mr. Woof, who he got as a child and had to hide from his parents since he was 10. He texted Robin immediately after his mom was done yelling at him about how he was embarrassing the Harrington name and what the neighbours would think. When he runs down the stairs at 8pm and out the front door, his parents don't even say goodbye. He refuses to let any tears fall even though the lump in his throat threatens to overwhelm him. Even the sky is mad. Thick droplets immediately soak him the few steps to his car. As he's driving over, he's rubbing his thumb over the tiny letters that take up some space on his forearm. The arm still stings where his dad had grabbed him. I´ll be there in ten. He types to Robin at a red light while the wipers work overtime. Drive safely and a hot cocoa is already waiting for you. (hug emoji) (kiss emoji) Steve reacted with a heart
