Thankfully, the scope of projects aren't as big. But doing a shirt nearly entirely by hand (Some machine sewing, but due to recovering from surgery I couldn't use my machines) it's been taking much longer. #Stitchtober

For those who aren't familiar with #Stitchtober:
I started that as a way to force myself to finish any project before starting a new one. Started it two-ish years ago over on Twitter with a skirt I was moseying along on. Last year was another walking skirt.

Projects I'm currently working on:
Sewing: Wrap top number two, with proper alterations in place.
Knitting: Stitch Surfer socks using stash yarn. And finishing Through the woods hooded cowl. I nearly forgot about that haha.

For those who don't knit/crochet:
Second Sock Syndrome is a thing where a lot of knitters/crocheters don't make it to the second sock on a project. Especially on thin yarn and tiny needles.

I'm a little late on my #Stitchtober shenanigans, but Day Job stuff prevented me from doing things. And I got into assembling my book nooks. But!
I've been at work hand sewing my shirt and hope to have it done by the end of the month. Knitting is underway with a (GASP) a second sock!

Did I get the skirt done in one month? Nope. But I got 90ish% done and curing always takes a couple of weeks. The rest of the fabric I am seeing if I can make a hat with it and maybe some matching gloves/writstlets to go with it.

The skirt panels and placket are attached! Now to fell down the edges, even the hem, sew on the waist band and let the sucker cure for two weeks, Then it's hem tape, closing fasteners and done!

The drawers are done!...
Aaaand I made them too big. Not the end of the world, I will be taking them in to make them fit properly. I'll be working on the skirt tonight. And watching trashy romance stuff.

The skirt has the side front panels up, and I'll be cutting out the placket and waist band once the panel edges are sewn down.
Then it's time to even the hem and let the skirt cure for two weeks, and then add skirt facing and hem tape to protect the edges. #Stitchtober

The linen drawers are nearly done!
I have to sew on the waist band, make button holes, select buttons, and then iron/wash/iron for them to be ready for me to wear with my chemise.

POCKEEEEEETTTTTSSSS are in!!!!
I've added bias tape to sew into the waist band to prevent the pockets from being floppy. Now it's sewing down the edges for fifty million years before cutting out the waist band and placket. But it's progress!
