Underglaze wash perspective. I love this moment because each mug is unique in how the slip was applied.

Just another step in the process. The rims were lightly sanded. The slip tends to be a little chunky but it needs to be so there’s grooves and crevices for the black underglaze wash. wipe it off and paint cherry blossoms on them.
