3 femicides in Berlin in one week - we won't forget! In June, many of us were shocked by the news that 3 women in Berlin were torn from their lives by femicides within one week. These women, as different as they may have been in age, origin or sexuality, who all lived their own lives, ultimately had one thing in common: They were murdered because they were women. These murders are not isolated cases, but an expression of the oppression of women under patriarchy.
In our lecture, we will not focus exclusively on femicides - because violence has many faces. We want to look together at the origins of violence against women, talk about the system behind it and ways in which we can take action. No prior knowledge is necessary, all interested parties are cordially invited! Come along to the lecture and discuss with us about violence against women, the origins and what we can do about it!
