A great grey owl atop a small branch. At the left is a tree and the owl is on a branch that is growing diagonally to the upper right. It has a large facial disc and a round head. Its eyes are yellow and intense as it looks off to the right. There is a curved black line and then a thicker curved white line next to the inside of each eye. The owl has a tiny beak, which is barely visible in the photo due to shadows. Just under the beak are two white lines. Its feather are grey on top and its chest and belly are white with brown streaks. Its long tail stretches downward. The background is a pretty light blue sky.

A Great Grey Owl perched high up in a tree. It is well camouflaged by all the leaves surrounding it and it has the sun in its back, which comes peeking through the leaves. Its yellow piercing eyes follow your every move.
