is your work or space 'inclusive' of survivors in any way, ANY WAY AT ALL, other than giving people the option to forget that we exist?

one of my deepest-held feelings about ttrpgs, and a reason i feel as strongly as i do about being able to say 'hell with the designer's intent this is my city now,' is that if i can't play a rape survivor w/o the feeling that the designer would try to make me Justify it, it sucks lol

lrp is something i think *really* needs to be talked about more for many reasons, and one of them is that there are MANY abusers in RP spaces who purposely weaponize bleed to hurt people in a way that conveniently lets them make their victims look Crazy. bc ~teehee it's just pretend~

interesting endeavors in game design: trying to put together an easy-to-remember visual layout for a mental button board for my alters to play ttrpgs with. obviously some games will be harder to do this effectively with than others, but as communication methods go it seems maybe useful

having Poorly Organized Thoughts about replacing thread mechanics, in GMless games, with story structure management that centers more around *tensions* and their constriction and release. my brain meshes very poorly with the standard 'thread' format that's most popular and hm. Hm

things that are incredibly nerve-wracking: wanting to start up commissions for a niche art form without much industry precedent or personal experience to draw from, being afraid of accidentally cheating people, not knowing how to find opportunities to practice/refine the process first

god i need to get on actually publishing my dice procedures for replacing cards, a significant portion of what got me into ttrpg dev was the sheer number of games i couldn't play because i can't handle cards without injuring myself (thanks nerve damage) and the digital options sucked

have discovered that the inexplicable anxiety i often experience when i try to put aside other distractions and focus on playing a solo rpg is Greatly reduced by putting on a moving gif in the background for ambient flavor. the same doesn't work for still images, only gifs. interesting

thinking abt a GMless mystery mechanic visualized as a board with clues as literal puzzle pieces that you have to arrange to solve the mystery. each clue piece has a defined center, then Shapes you can add to its edges to represent how you think it relates to other parts of the mystery
