Julian is a young Baird's Tapir who was born in 2022, and I spent some quality time with him today at @tapirvalley.bsky.social as he was munching on some guava that had fallen to the ground. When I first met him, he was extremely shy but today as he fed just a few meters from me.

Regalo is a large male that visits every few nights. He's getting much more relaxed around me now, and he was just a few meters away tonight.

He was marking his scent around the house by rubbing his neck on the trees.
