Detail view of a student project displayed on a white exhibition panel. Printed email correspondence with the city administration and the Stolpersteine initiative, photographs of Stolpersteine before and after being cleaned by hand, a spoon used for cleaning, a quote by María Puig de la Bellacasa on the political dimensions of care, and photos of cleaning materials are attached to the panel. All elements are connected by red wool threads, forming visible nodes where objects relate to one another, highlighting the fragility of the care network they compose.

Many of my students write in their final reflection that they had a hard time keeping up w the weekly assignments, but also that they thought they were good for them, bc they forced them to work on the materials every week.
My thought: We are bad predictors of what we want/need

I really appreciate that a student wrote that my classes feel like a "collective effort" in trying to understand a concept, rather than a "shouting contest" about who has the soundest arguments.
