"She's so cute and adorable, and she has this innocent look in her eyes when she smiles," she continued in a dreamy voice. "She really is! I just want to cuddle her and protect her and tell her everything's gonna be okay..." "I want to watch the stars with her, holding each other atop a grassy hill." "Oh, that would be such a dream come true!" "Hell yeah. If only we could..." That's when I got an idea. I looked up at the Sayori plushie centered at the top shelf of the prize counter, and I looked at the price tag directly below it that read "1,500 tickets." I thought about the countless hours I'd spent at Press Start Arcade, grinding out runs in the classic games to earn enough tickets for specific prizes, and I thought about the times Aether and I had come together and combined our efforts to collect tickets that much faster. This time, I figured, would be no different. "Maybe I can," I thought out loud.
