Der heutige #SingleMalt kommt aus #Finnland. In Lahti reifte er ausschließlich in #PX- und #Oloroso -Fässern. Dementsprechend kommen sehr viel süße Aromen zusammen, Beeren, Rosinen, Trockenfrüchte, etwas Würze. Sehr weich, fast cremig.

Dutch salted licorice melted into boiled beet syrup – a truly extraordinary experience. I’m not sure I would have recognized it as whisky right away in a full blond tasting; I probably would have thought it was an over-proof liqueur. Absolutely unusual. 😳
