I'm quite partial to a Talisker. The 10yo is good, the 18yo exceptional. This isn't bad either. A little bit of brine & smoke and a nice citrus finish.

Für die Kronberger Genuss-Messe lag dieser #SingleMalt 7 Jahre in #PX -Sherry-Fässern. Orangen, Zimt und Schokolade kommen gleich in die Nase. Früchte, Rosinen, Nüsse und Vanille sind im Mund präsent.

Torabhaig Cnoc Na Moine
My previous dip into Torabhaig was with their Allt Glean but I wasn't overly impressed. This one is definitely more to my taste with a light but decent splash of peaty smoke. Not a bad dram at all.

#Kilchoman Batch Strength
Endlich ein Whisky von #Islay. Gereift in Rotwein-, Oloroso-Sherry- und Bourbonfässern. In der Nase beginnt es mit roten Früchten, Heidekraut und Torfrauch. Im Mund bleibt neben Vanille und Gewürzen der Rauch sehr präsent. Lecker 😍

An oloroso finished 9yr old Glenrothes from 2011, for the Morrison's Distillers Carn Mor range.
An easy drinking dram with the typical, Christmas cake, spicy, dark fruit taste.

I've had bottles of "ampersands" before, both std & cask strength. This "& Overproof" sits in between at 50% abv. and is lovely. Definitely Top 5 of drams so far. Maybe Top 3....

Heut gibt's einen 2fach gebrannten irischen Malt aus #Bourbon- und #Oloroso- Fässern. Sehr fruchtig steigt er in die Nase mit Zitrusnoten, Birne und Rosinen. Im Mund kommt noch Vanille, Malz und etwas mehr Würze dazu.

#WhiskyAdvent day 21 and for the 4th time, I'm back at #Bunnahabhain.
This hand fill distillery exclusive which was drawn from an oloroso hogshead, was distilled in 2013 and bottled after just 6 years at 60.2% abv.

1st, a Kilkerran 12 yr with a 70/30 split of ex-bourbon and sherry casks used for this 2022 batch.
Next, its a Carn Mor Benriach 2010 8 yr from sherry butts bottled for Morrison and Mackay, as they were known back then.
