On bone dry pieces of this size, I typically wait about 20 minutes in between underglazes coats. It takes longer if I’m painting on bisque ware. I am using @maycocolors Squash Yellow underglaze. #terrikern #terrikernstudios #underglazepainting #earthenwarepottery

I like to color block my designs with yellow (Squash) when I’m painting over blue. Once the yellow layer is dry, I’ll paint the design with several layers of off-white. This video has been sped up x3.
