Do I recommend?

No I don't. There is greatness here but this show always played safe, didn't push boundaries, was derivative, too middle class, Christian and white. Even as soap it was so poor. The prior TV Movies had huge promise but the TV series did not deliver.

This show can have a legacy but the outdated and conservative Hallmark rules are a liability and mean this show cannot flourish.
There were big glimpses in S6 and S7 about how they could inject magic storylines and stop it being an interminably banal vanilla soap.
