I just watched #TheLongestDay (1962, Ken Annakin, Andrew Marton and Gerd Oswald) - Darryl F. Zanuck's 3 hour epic about the invasion of Normandy. It's a spectacular, documentary-style film (with an all-star cast), telling the story of D-Day from the perspective of both the German and Allied forces.
