"The palace" di Roman Polansky, 100 minuti, 2023. -C’è un sontuoso castello progettato all’inizio del 1900 da un architetto mistico, un castello che si trova nelle montagne della Svizzera, nel bel mezzo di una valle innevata. È il Palace Hotel, edificio dall’atmosfera gotica e fiabesca dove ogni anno, a Capodanno, ospiti ricchi, viziati e viziosi convergono da tutto il mondo. È il 31 dicembre 1999 - Capodanno del nuovo millennio- da themoviedb.org Locandina del film The Palace, diretto da Roman Polanski. L’immagine centrale mostra un primo piano surreale e provocatorio di una persona dai capelli ricci, con una tiara scintillante e un abito rosso arricciato, il volto immerso in un piatto di caviale. La figura indossa gioielli vistosi — collana e orecchini — che accentuano l’estetica opulenta e grottesca.
