「ペンギン・レッスン」を観る - ちょっとだけ勝手に言わせてもらいます 今日は盟友N氏と静岡シネギャラリーへ遠征、一本目は「ペンギン・レッスン」を観て来ました。1976年軍事政権下のアルゼンチンを舞台に、学校に赴任した英語教師と、彼と生活する事になったペンギンを描いた映画、しかも実話に基づく作品です。ピーター・バラカンさんがラジオ番組でオススメした事以外、特に情報は入れずに鑑賞しました。アルゼンチンの事情に反し、雇われ感ばかりの主人公。現実逃避で訪れたパラグアイで.....

この映画はリアルな「E.T.」なのかもしれません。皆サルバドールの前では本音で接するのです。動物セラピーみたいなものでしょうか。

#ThePenguinLesson is now streaming on Netflix. Despite a wonky start, if you stick with it, the film is a very relevant story about average people facing down Fascism. Plus, there's a very cute penguin. My #TellyVisions review:
