I use bits and pieces. In #Thereafter Michael's knee problem is inspired by my own subpar knees, and the one time I pulled a tendon in particular. Lex is based on two of the most interesting people I know. Felipe is kind of based on people I've been annoyed to be attracted to, that kind of thing.

Thereafter Chapter 20: Close Encounter The Exalted fend off some henchmen, and reach a provisional conclusion about the theft of the Sword Of Lakes.

I somehow managed to forget #Thereafter day yesterday, but the chapter fortunately went out due to me having scheduled it ahead of time. In this one, henchmen are fought, cuddles are had, and a potentially rash decision is made.

Progress is so so. Trying to work up a backlog of #Thereafter chapters now that the finale of book 1 is getting close, and I'm sneaking in some edits for my horror novel when I have the energy.

This may be a long shot, but I'm doing some research for book 2 of #Thereafter at the moment and I've encountered somewhat of a stopping block. So, do I have any mutuals with experience with black natural hair and its care and maintenance? I have some (hopefully not too) stupid questions.
