She is used to frighten children to stay close to home, as flooding and rain makes the woods she lurks dangerous. Whatever you do, DO NOT LOOK AT HER BACK.
An old page, which transcribes: THE BACK To know you are dealing with the Zipper Witch, is the danger of her back. She will move in a way to hide it, and will attack those who glimpse at it. She is in the dark and rain. ) Within mythology, her back is a stitched seal in cryptic writing, accompanied with a castle line along the spine.
