It is an old page, which reads: Tear 6 Entity: The Zipper Witch An entity in association of Gloria Cove. Local mythology claims when the rainy season hits, a witch can be seen after midnight. ( There is a drawing of an odd looking woman wrapped in bandages, in the dark and rain. There are crystals at her feet. ) The Zipper Witch is known to attack things out of place without fail. She is used to frighten children to stay close to home, as flooding and rain makes the woods she lurks dangerous. Whatever you do, DO NOT LOOK AT HER BACK.

An old page, which transcribes: THE BACK To know you are dealing with the Zipper Witch, is the danger of her back. She will move in a way to hide it, and will attack those who glimpse at it. ( There is a drawing of a naked woman with her back turned to the front, showing symbols and a castle line on her spine. She is in the dark and rain. ) Within mythology, her back is a stitched seal in cryptic writing, accompanied with a castle line along the spine. When the seal breaks, that castle line splits in half like a zipper, giving the cryptid its identification. The Zipper on her back is capable of shuttering despite being sealed. The reaction is that of three: Flustered, a spine chill, and that of aggression. The shifting will sound like a wind chime, or seashells rubbing together. ( There is a tiny image of seashells in the bottom right corner. )

An old page, which transcribes: The Shell The body, known as a 'Shell', seems to be made of moon dust, and is hollow in nature. The shell is used to lure humans closer for inspection. Her true form is trapped inside, and it is a mass of tentacles, bone and crystal. When she deems a human as a threat, she will break the seal, shedding the shell and maul them to death. ( There is an image of a woman slumped over in the dark rain, and out of her back are skeleton arms, tentacles, and small crystals. Her eyes are round and vacant, and her arms and legs are covered in scales, as if crystalized. ) All organic parts outside of the shell itself (hair, tongue, etc.) are camouflaged tentacles, and can be returned to form if the witch is comfortable, or drenched in salt water. ( There is an image of a mouth, the tongue sticking out. It is a curled tentacle, and there is an arrow pointing to it. The description says 'Its blue!' ) The Moon dust skin can crystalize when threatened, which can crystalize what it touches.

( There is a drawing of a woman's face half-way in water, up to her nose. It is dark and rainy, her hair are octopus tentacles. ) When the seal breaks, all senses that were severely dampened during the sealed period, and the Zipper Witch will be blind. ( This is understood that she gains her senses back, at the cost of no longer being able to see. What is not stated here, is that all sensitivity she has missed, will hit all at once. ) If you cannot identify the shell from her back, you can focus on what the witch allows you to interact with. If you can get close enough to the Zipper Witch, is the fact she has eyes like a corpse. Her skin is cold, its chill taking the warmth it comes in contact with. The internal temperature of the Zipper Witch is a different story. It runs feverishly hot, due to a large mass cramped into such a small space, for reasons unknown. (There is a drawing of an octopus tentacle at the bottom of the page.)

so the western portion of shalhavar (the first place i began worldbuilding in), was pretty much directly inspired by the pacific northwest and it really shows, the map's changed a bit since then but it is still very similar

revna was very inexperienced to start and karlach was…well, karlach; the two of them had to take things slow by design. by the time they were able to build up to actually having sex, the next morning they woke up and got back to having more of it. making up for lost time.
