India Street, Glasgow. Much redeveloped since 1902! Scottish Power is slap bang where I wanted to be!
This afternoon's city walk mirrored the slight legacy of the guy I meant to trace. I couldn't get in one venue. None of his publications were in the library. The street where he opened an academy has been / is still being redeveloped. And I missed the bus. Did put in the steps, though!

Croydon Memorial Outdoor 50 metre Swimming Pool, at early evening under clear blue skies and empty of people.
I was in the zone, swimming laps, perfect conditions for de-stressing...when the lifeguard called me out of the pool.
A child had vomited 🤢 in the water so they had to close early.
They say you never regret a swim but an interrupted swim is soul destroying.

A basket of clean washing, sat on my bed. On top of the washing is a comfortable looking little tabby cat, called Willow. She doesn't look like she plans on moving anytime soon 🙄
Up at 5.30am today (on a Sunday! 😱) as a child has a sports thing. Thought I'd make use of the early start by sorting out all the washing awaiting my attention. Apparently not.
