You have to admit, Worf, a Federation citizen and bridge officer on the Federation’s flagship being, just, automatically and reflexively racist, is a bad, bad look. And his apology (so-called) makes it worse! So I should say it is a low point for him.

I think the worst Worf ever gets is in DS9 on YET ANOTHER jungle planet mission, where he messes up so badly, Sisko has to tell him that he’ll never get a command on his own because of it. (Which makes what happens in PIC S3 so nonsensical!)

“Birthright II” is not a bad episode, it’s just poorly written and conceived. If Worf’s reaction to Ba’el’s ears is any indication at all, the hybrids will face a terrible future on Kronos. And forget Romulus.
