More #toasterverse work. Having a reaction in the crusher area: hypothesis is numbing cream + old ink is cause. Benadryl brings the redness down. We took a break after 45m when we noticed redness & the needle started feeling sharp. Finished up the cut wires on the #EV1 charge cable then stopped.

The tenth and most recent #toasterverse #tattoo is the fancy 80's entertainment center/projection TV from the master's city apartment. You never see this character in full form in the film, so this is our interpretation of what he would look like if seen in full frame.

The ninth #toasterverse #tattoo is Toaster himself, in the nightmare scene. Ultimately, my back will storyboard the nightmare scene complete with fire fighter clown and maybe even the bath tub.

The eighth #toasterverse #tattoo is another custom piece: An Apple Newton MessagePad 120. I was a Newton user for more than a decade, it's the only reason I graduated from assisted to standard classes in high school. The startup chime from a MessagePad 2000 is the opening soundmark for my podcast!

The seventh #toasterverse #tattoo is another custom creation, a ChargePoint Express Plus DC Fast EV charging station. Why this device? It's the product I support at work, and this is the state I mainly see them in: angry and faulted, and my job is to make them happy again.

The fourth #toasterverse #tattoo was the hanging lamp from the parts shop. This is the lamp that gives Lampy a new bulb and also warns him to "use it in good health, while you still can!"

The third #toasterverse #tattoo was the protagonist Lampy. For the protagonists, I decided to depict them in their scariest moment in the film. For Lampy, this was in the forest when he recharges the dead car battery with a lightening bolt that almost kills him.

The second #toasterverse #tattoo was the air conditioner. I decided to start with the first non-protagonist characters you meet in each scene, which is the air conditioner (if we're going in chronological order). The number of folks who have a reaction to this particular tat amuses me to no end.

The first #toasterverse #tattoo was the scariest character of the film: the junkyard magnet. The magnet was a coverup of my zodiac sign, and the idea was borrowed from a gal who works at the local powersports dealer. The day before the world shut down for #COVID-19, this guy was born.

In 1988, The Disney Channel launched with a hyped never before seen film. The #toasterverse wound up being where I'd retreat during my tumultuous childhood. To honor it, I've begun a #tattoo shirt of all the OG characters + a few new ones.
