In front of her, Jullus dabbed a thin, odorless liquid onto a small cloth and ran it along the disassembled interior of his firearm. Oil on skin, cooking oil, accelerants. It was a new sensation, the ability to smell, and Zero didn't know whether to cover her nose or breathe it all in like it was the last of her humanity
