#TornadoTuesday. A shot of the Traynor, Iowa EF3 tornado, minutes before the Minden EF3 tornado started to spin up on the same mesocyclone. Today's IL/IN forecasted hodographs on the warm front remind me a bit of those observed on this date.

Now that I have two chases under my belt for 2026, it's been too long since my last #tornadotuesday post. This is a few miles NW of Rogers NM on 5 June 2025, from a separate supercell and about 45 minutes before the Morton TX dust wedge.

#RAF #Tornado ZA410 had a chequered history. After suffering body damage, it was moved to Boscombe Down and used for structural tests until it was scrapped in 2017.

For #TornadoTuesday, here's the 23 June 1995 low-precipitation supercell and F1 tornado near Falcon, Colorado. A "mini" supercell in horizontal dimension, but not low-topped (it was still a tall storm).

Taking it back to May of 2015 on this #TornadoTuesday. This #tornado originated in far north Texas and crossed the Red River into Jackson County, Oklahoma, taking on many shapes and sizes during its lifetime. The storm also dropped some monster hail in the process. #WxSky
