OTD 5 years ago, 27 August 2020, I measured 947.1 mb min pressure inside the 'eye' of powerful CAT 4 Hurricane Laura as it passed over Carlyss, Louisiana. It caused incredible destruction, including the KLCH radar and dome. #LAwx
