An elongated burrow preserved as a relief on coarse-grained sediments. A scale bar shows that the observable part is around 20 cm long and 1-1.5 cm wide. It appears that the burrow branches on the right of the image.

buff to reddish sandstone with chips spalled out in a very critter-limb shape but i could ne wrong
i know i am early for #fossilfriday but i need to share this and NEED some feedback
i live in central ohio and the berea sandstone bedrock is exposed on my farm. this geological formation is notoriously nonfossiliferous.
but i think that the stone facade on my house has something!

A tiny sea creature fell over, then fine sediment echoed that fall in gentle water, and then it all froze in time 350 MYA.

Photo taken November 25, 2023, of what looks like footprints in sandstone. In this same area I found a lot of fossilized driftwood in this same area possibly indicating a beach or water edge environment. According to geological maps, the age of the rock is Cretaceous, or dinosaur time. #tracefossil
