I'm coming up with an idea for next bank holiday. I've done #transkernow and thinking about #transwales
TK was 310km done in 1 night and 2 days. TW will be 400km but I'll only have 2 days to do it in 🤔 #cycling #bikepacking #audax #bikeadventures

Today's the day! It's not an audax, nor is it a race. There's no back up, no route, just 2 controls, Tintagel and Porthleven. No teams or groups, we ride solo or in pairs. We have until 5pm Sunday to finish and it all kicks off at 8pm tonight #transkernow25 #TK2025 #TransKernow #bikepacking

Kit and snacks + brekky for 2 days and 1 night on the roads of Cornwall cycling. Most of this I'll either be wearing or carry in my saddle pack, tyres tubes, tools, etc. will go in the bar bag. Accommodation is now sorted. Premier inn at Bodmin Friday night, I suspect it'll be midnight or gone when I check in there. But Saturday night, I'm slumming at Falmouth it in here. I've even got a balcony and a sea view 😁 #TransKernow #cycling #bikeadventures

I've been trying to remember what happened last time I did the Trans Kernow and why I was so late getting to the start.
I remember now, I had a dentist appointment that day and I was waiting for the anesthetic to wear off before I went 🦷😩 #TransKernow

Next weekends adventure is sorted, booked it, got a route, got accommodation.
I just need to get the bike ready and prepare the rider.
