We're directly in front of a large set of doors, at a low angle looking upwards so that it appears to taper inwards as it stretches up the frame. The small part of the surrounding wall of the building we can see is light stone brickwork. The doors are two identical panels that have Georgian-style or fan-shaped transom lights over them forming a Romanesque arch that the brickwork follows in a small border. Each door panel is teal-coloured, split into three sections with the largest, uppermost one covered in a grille with an overlapping, rounded, geometric pattern and the two sections below each hosting decorative mouldings, all still of that same teal colour. The lowest mouldings include the forms of measuring scales within wreaths.
It's #DoorsDay and this is one of several identical doors along one wall of the Justice Court building in Cherbourg, France. The colour is gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as that Georgian-style fanlight above.
