Stage one: Tower with XPS bricks, obviously made of a Pringles can judging by the metallic cardboard inside, with the top missing in an irregular diagonal pattern, showing on the inside a neatly boarded floor with masonry and two of the three arrow slits visible. The rest is unfinished..
That same tower but now with an extra floor on top of the room visual just now. The floor is made of unpainted coffee stirrer sticks and has a square hole in it on the side that has a ladder poking out. It's obvious that this is the stage that I got to thinking whether I should just leave it like this or actually do something.
That same tower but now with ladder and floor painted in dark brown and a gap in the side of the tower showing that the inside of the entire chamber is painted in a dark Grey with a turquoise tint. The entire Tower has now been cladded on the inside and on top of the later installed floor arrow slits are also visible with diagonally cut edges towards the slits.
Cladded the second tower of Pringle Castle on the inside. Discovered halfway that I'd be locking an unpainted level into it, so I pre painted it 😅 it was that or a construction with magnetised removable inner parts.

Two Pringle Towers side by side. One is a bit odd with all kinds of pretruding stones and the other doesn't have a single top or battlements because it was meteored off. Both have nice arrow slots. The shorter one has a person standing in a doorway

Two pictures of a partial miniature castle made of XPS foam bricks, coffee stirrers, skewers and bits of cardboard. There's a tower with a collapsed side and another of a partial pringles can (flavour cream and onion) with not a single brick stuck to it.
Partial pringles can (still sour cream and onion flavour) with a little arched doorway cut into it and the top cut off diagonally and rather randomly. It's got a small doorstep of XPS blocks and up to the arching the tower has XPS bricks along its side. Because I'm all for convenience I've stuck a wood glue bottle that's nearly empty upside down in the tower can
Pringle Castle is developing! Another tower has been started and this one is going to be a complete PITA for cladding with bricks on the inside, so I'm already thinking of shortcuts for that 😂

XPS foam brick ruin with cardboard core and coffee stirrer wood boards, reinforced here and there with beams of skewer. The ruin is a section of castle wall with a tower/gatehouse with a corner broken down, on the top which is purged a coffee cup that reads 'er is hier, er is tijd' (there's here, there's time)
Ruins are not supposed to be this strong haha
For your reference, the cup is made to look like plastic but glazed earthenware (with poetry on)

Final result of the "quick" cardboard #trashbash #terrain. Looking decent after painting, I wish I'd done a better job with the tape, as it shows a bit everywhere. I'm pretty happy with how the doorway ended up!

A 8"x7" Sci-Fi ruin made with cardboard, masking tape, foam and plastic leftovers, with some Space Marines as scale reference. The building is done in two pieces that can work as separate ruins. Front door is closed.

Yesterday I did a "quick" #WIP cardboard / #trashbash #terrain build with a removable door. Needs a few more details and painting. Made it without much planning and measuring, and trying to avoid very complex shapes... Let's see how it ends!

Ruined tower with partially damaged floors visible. There are ladders, I repeat ladders and definitely no spiral staircases, on the inside and the top floor has lost some battlements.
Four massively armoured wheels and a spiked ram positioned as if there is supposed to be more between them but unfortunately the hull and engine and cannon and hatches are not there
